Whenever you’re praying, it’s always best to find a verse that is foundational to what you are asking of God. I like to start with more than one verse, so here are three that will lay a foundation to request abundance:
“I have come that they might have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 NKJV
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24 NIV
“And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 NIV
Now pray this prayer out loud…any instructions will be in brackets and bold:
“Father, I know it is your will for me to live a life of abundance…a life that is filled with all that I need and even those things that bring me joy. I humbly ask that you meet all of my financial needs, as well as my other needs. That you give me the abundant life that you spoke of in your word. That you always help me cast doubt aside and yoke up with FIRMLY BELIEVING. With you nothing is impossible! There is no need I have that you won’t meet…all that’s required is that I pray and believe. Make your word large inside my spirit, and help me cast all my cares upon you because you care for me. [Now list all the specific needs you have and frame them up in your mind as being done for you by God.]
